Every Fighter, No Matter How Tough, Needs Someone To Have Their Back. Fighter's I Wo
“It’s less about the physical training, in the end, than it is about the mental preparation: boxing is a chess game. You have to be skilled enough and have trained hard enough to know how many different ways you can counterattack in any situation, at any moment.” – Jimmy Smits
Whether you are competing in pure boxing or using it in the cage, it is like playing a game of chess.
One slight change in your game can make all the difference. I will watch video of your videos to make improvements to your game or expose your opponents openings to you.
My primary goal is to provide valuable insights and feedback to fighters, coaches, and teams, helping them improve their performance, game plans, and overall strategies.

A video analyst meticulously reviews and analyzes the recorded footage, paying close attention to fighters' techniques, movements, offensive and defensive strategies, grappling exchanges, striking patterns, and overall performance. I use specialized software and tools to dissect the video, slow down critical moments, and make detailed observations.
In addition to analyzing the fighter's own performances, a video analyst studies footage of their upcoming opponents. I identify the opponent's fighting style, strengths, weaknesses, tendencies, and preferred techniques. This information helps the fighter and coaching team develop effective game plans and strategies for the upcoming match.
A video analyst identifies the fighter's strengths, areas for improvement, and weaknesses. This can include technical aspects, conditioning levels, fight IQ, and overall tactical skills.
Video analysts provide strategic and tactical insights to coaches and fighters. I may suggest adjustments in fight strategies, combinations, defensive maneuvers, and other aspects of the fighter's game to exploit the opponent's weaknesses and capitalize on their strengths.
After analyzing the video footage, I provide comprehensive feedback and detailed reports to the coaching staff and fighters. I may use visual aids, such as annotated clips, side-by-side comparisons, and statistical data, to convey their findings effectively.
A video analyst's feedback and insights contribute to designing targeted training sessions that address the fighter's weaknesses and enhance their overall performance.
I will often analyze fight video and gain knowledge for the athlete as to which muscle groups need strengthening and/or mobility issues.
Over time, a video analyst keeps track of the fighter's progress, comparing current performances with past performances and evaluating the effectiveness of implemented strategies and improvements.
